What is on the pages
- One page per letter — all 28 — with the letter drawn as a huge outlined bubble shape that a chunky crayon fits inside.
- Two example words per letter with their emoji, so every letter arrives attached to a meaning.
- A tracing row under the picture: one solid guide, two faint guides, then blank cells.
- The letter's name and transliteration in the header, so the adult always knows what sound to model.
How to use it
This is the pre-writing version of the alphabet. Three-year-olds who cannot yet trace a straight line can still fill a big letter with colour — and the hand movement of colouring inside a letterform is real preparation for writing it.
Say the letter's sound every time your child colours a stroke of it, not once at the start. By the page's end the sound and the shape have met twenty times.
Tear out the three letters of the child's own name first. They are the pages that get coloured twice.
Questions
How is this different from the tracing pack?
The tracing pack teaches the hand to write; this one teaches the eye to recognise. Colouring a huge ب builds the shape memory that tracing then trains — they work best as a pair, colouring first for the younger child.
Do the bubble letters show the letter in its isolated form only?
Yes — colouring works best on one big shape. The joined forms are on the tracing pack's pages and in the free alphabet chart.
