What is on the pages
- Five opposite pairs, each on one page with both drawings side by side: elephant & mouse, sun & moon, campfire & snowman, full & empty glass, rocket & turtle.
- Both Arabic words on shared tracing rows, so the pair is learned as a pair.
- English tracing underneath, and a sentence using both words that a parent can read aloud.
- The reuse is deliberate: the rocket and turtle also appear in the Solar System and Animals books — familiar friends, new relationships.
How to use it
Opposites are learned in pairs, so colour both halves of the page in one sitting and say the two words back to back: كبير… صغير. The rhythm is the lesson.
Then play it live: point at something tall and something short in the room and ask which is which. The sheet teaches the pair; the room tests it.
Questions
Why are both words on one page?
Because an opposite only means something next to its partner. Big alone is a fact; big next to small is a concept — and the tracing rows keep the two words physically side by side.
Do I need the other coloring books first?
No — but children who already coloured the Solar System and Animals books will recognise the rocket and the turtle, which makes this book feel like meeting old friends.
