One page per number from 1 to 10: a clear digit with its Arabic name, counting circles to colour, guided tracing, writing practice, and space to draw.

What is on the pages

  • One large number on each page, using digits 1, 2, 3 through 10, with its Arabic name and pronunciation.
  • Counting circles to colour, arranged in rows of five so children can count one object at a time.
  • A guided tracing row, a writing row with fewer clues, an Arabic-name tracing line, and a box for drawing the same quantity.

How to use it

Start with a number your child already knows. Count that many toys together before moving to the paper.

Say the Arabic name as you colour each circle. Point to the large digit, say the total, then trace the number and its name.

Print one or two pages at a time. Leave the independent writing for another day if your child is still learning to hold a pencil.

Questions

Which digits are used in these worksheets?

The worksheets use 1, 2, 3 through 10. Each number is paired with its Arabic name, such as 1 — واحد, so children practise Arabic vocabulary as well as counting.

Does this pack include zero or numbers past ten?

This pack has ten pages, one for each number from 1 to 10. The numbers guide also introduces zero, and a separate 11–20 pack continues the writing practice.
