What is on the pages
- A 30-day Ramadan calendar: one lantern per day to colour at iftar, ending with the crescent of Eid. No dates are printed, so it fits whichever day the month begins.
- A good-deeds chart in two pages (days 1–15 and 16–30) with six deeds — helping at home, a kind word, sharing, Quran, dua for someone, patience — and a star to colour for each.
- Eight Ramadan words to trace: رمضان، صيام، إفطار، سحور، هلال، فانوس، تمر، عيد, each with its transliteration and meaning.
- An Eid Mubarak card to colour, fold and give, with lines for 'to' and 'from' and the greeting to trace.
How to use it
Print the calendar before the first night and stick it where the family breaks the fast. Colouring the day's lantern at iftar turns the month into something a young child can see moving.
Fill in the good-deeds chart together at bedtime. Keep it about noticing, not scoring: a day with one star is still a good day.
Save the Eid card for the last week, so it is ready to give on Eid morning.
Questions
When does Ramadan start in 2027?
Ramadan 1448 is expected to begin around 8 February 2027, with Eid al-Fitr around 9–10 March. The exact day depends on the sighting of the new moon, which is why the calendar has no dates printed on it.
Is the pack suitable for children who do not fast yet?
Yes. Nothing in it is about fasting itself: the calendar, the good deeds and the words are for every child in the family, fasting or not.
